Parents Using Google+ For Children

Social networks are constantly growing and changing to offer customers more of what they want. Being part of a social network is taking advantage of a free service which allows people to contact each other through messaging, and also allows them to create their very own social profile online for others to view.

Parents can use these social networks to keep family and friends updated about the growth and development of their child, and post pictures online for everyone see.

Many parents disagree with putting any photos of their children on a social network, as they feel the pictures could be used by anyone who can find it, but this isn't true. These networks are becoming more aware of how many people want to have better privacy settings on their profiles, and these settings have been added.
Now people can keep their profiles secure from anyone using the internet, and only allow those they actively seek out to see their profile, which is what many parents do want.

By enabling these security settings, a parent can freely post pictures of their children as they grow, assembling albums, and include those they want to see them without the fear that those images will appear any further online.

Google+ is a growing social network which already has users posting and sharing images, articles and thoughts around the world. The social network is still relatively new, but allows people to do a greater range of things than most other social networks. These added extras benefit parents in many ways, firstly if they want to have a video conversation and share their video stream with a group of people, they can create a 'hangout', which will allow everyone involved in the conversation to interact and see everyone else's video stream.
This is much better than other video chat services such as Skype, as more people can view and share videos in one conversation for free than only two.

Every profile on Google+ can be hidden from view with the privacy settings included in it, meaning images can be posted and shared between families without there being any danger of the image going any further. By creating a Google+ profile and sharing pictures of their baby, parents can allow family and friends to send messages and post pictures and comments of themselves with the baby for them to see when they're old enough to use it. This can be a great thing for a child to have, as they won't remember their early birthdays or even events early in their life, but there will always be a detailed record of them on Google+ as long as parents keep their profile updated for them.
